Relative Mode

By default, moving a slider in Sine Machine changes the harmonics to be in an exact shape. We often call this “Absolute Mode” or “Brutalist Mode.” Pick a shape, move the slider and you will see that shape in the spectrum.

However sometimes you want to be able to mix things up and get more complex shapes in the spectrum.

Good use cases for Relative Mode

Sculpt different shapes for even vs. odd harmonics

More precisely adjust one of the envelope pieces
